In accordance with the Victorian Government regulations all guests upon arrival must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Only fully vaccinated guests or guests who have an official medical exemption (medical certificate or letter from a Chief Health Officer approved medical practitioner, with matching personal photo identification) will be permitted entry into the hotel. Children 12 years and over must be fully vaccinated whilst children under 12 years old do not need to be vaccinated if accompanied by fully vaccinated adults.

The Langham Melbourne’s standard check-in time begins at 3:00pm and check-out is at 12:00pm. Early arrivals and late departures are based on availability, fees may apply. Should you choose to arrive earlier, you are welcome to store luggage and make use of the Chuan Spa Health Club. In order to guarantee arrival prior to 3pm, pre-registration is available at an additional full night charge.

The Langham, Melbourne is a smoke-free hotel. All rooms & suites are non-smoking, should you choose to smoke in your room a $200 cleaning fee (per day) will be enforced. Cleaning fee for One Bedroom Suites is $400 per day and $800 per day for the Chairman and Residence Suites.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older with valid government issued identification to reserve and to check-in to a guestroom. A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in time and become a registered guest in the room.
For your safety and security, a valid photo ID (e.g. passport or driver’s license) is required to be presented at check-in. For bookings made on third party websites, we will require to retain a copy of your photo-ID.
It is a policy of The Langham Melbourne to take a bond upon arrival to guarantee both the accommodation and incidental charges for the duration of your stay. Furthermore, we do monitor all guest accounts throughout the stay to ensure that the account does not exceed the bond secured upon check-in.
Paying by Credit Card
Upon check-in, a pre-authorisation for the total accommodation amount plus $100 per night is processed on your credit card. We recommend that the final bill is settled with the same credit card presented on check-in.
Note about Pre-authorisation
A pre-authorisation is a bond amount frozen (or reserved) on your credit card, but not deducted from your account. It may take 5 – 7 business days for this bond amount to be available on your credit card. Please note that this process and the estimated time for the return of funds are enforced by the card issuer and cannot be controlled or influenced by The Langham Melbourne.
Paying by Debit Card
Upon check-in, a payment equivalent to the total accommodation amount plus $100 per night is processed on your credit card. Any unspent amounts are refunded at time of check-out onto the same card.
Please allow 5 – 7 business days for the refund to appear on your debit card account – the estimated time for the return of refunds is enforced by the card issuer and cannot be controlled or influenced by The Langham Melbourne.
Paying in Cash or EFTPOS
Upon check-in, a payment equivalent to the total accommodation amount plus $100 per night is required at check-in. Any unspent amounts are refunded at time of check-out either in cash or onto the EFTPOS card (dependant on the method of payment chosen).
For EFTPOS cards, please allow 5 – 7 business days for the refund to appear on your card account – the estimated time for the return of refunds is enforced by the card issuer and cannot be controlled or influenced by The Langham Melbourne.
Gift Voucher Bookings
Please present the original voucher at check-in. For these bookings, we will require a bond of $100 per night for incidentals as well as any outstanding accommodation amount not covered by the voucher.
Bookings Charged Back to Third Parties
A bond of $100 per night is required at check-in (choose any of the methods above via Cash, EFTPOS, Debit card or Credit card).
Credit Card Merchant Service Fees
Credit card payments, including payments by Paypass, Paywave or Expresspay, will incur a merchant service fee in addition to the total amount payable as follows:
