Our Partnerships

Our annual community program enables our colleagues to get involved in various volunteering and fundraising activities within the local community, with the main focus on supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and KIDS charity for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people. Every month we also donate used and unused clothing, linen and tableware to the Passage charity for homeless people.

Partner with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)

GOSH is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals and provides inspirational and world-class care to hundreds of children every day. The GOSH charity need to raise funds to help give hope to seriously ill children and their families. The Langham colleagues support this charity through fundraising events including bucket collections at stations and by participating and volunteering at the annual Race for Kids 5 km family fun run. Partner with KIDS

The purpose of KIDS charity is to enable children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities to enjoy their lives and achieve their ambitions, whilst providing support and guidance to their families. The Langham and colleagues support this charity through volunteering projects including cleaning and maintenance of playgrounds and accommodation as well as offering skills at cooking classes and art classes. Plan Zheroes

Plan Zheroes is a charity connecting food businesses to local charities to reduce food waste and provide food to those in need. They have an online food donation platform that enables businesses to quickly and easily post their donations of surplus food online, for nearby charities and community groups to collect. The Langham, London use the platform on a daily basis to inform local charities about surplus pastries and bread products available; which are collected by charities in the afternoon.


Room to Reward 

Room to Reward is a charity initiative created to say 'thank you' to the inspirational staff and volunteers who do so much for others through their commitment and dedication to charities and their communities. These amazing 'Hidden Heroes' do so much for so many, and ask for nothing in return. Room to Reward is a chance for the hotel industry to recognise their extraordinary efforts. The Langham, London agrees to donate a minimum of 2 nights per year to the scheme, charities then nominate their well-deserving volunteers for a 1 or 2 night B&B break.


Colleague Volunteering

The Langham, London has an annual community involvement program, including many volunteering opportunities where colleagues can use their expertise from cookery classes to cleaning and maintenance while using hotel equipment and materials, or just by assisting at big events for example assist at water stations or hand out medals at charity runs or walks.
